Airways Company Q.C.S.C. operating as Qatar Airways, is the
state-owned flag carrier of Qatar. Headquartered in the Qatar Airways
Tower in Doha, the airline operates a hub-and-spoke network, linking
over 150 international destinations across Africa, Central Asia,

City, Georgia in Greater Atlanta. World Airways was founded in 1948
by Benjamin Pepper. Edward Daly, however is thought of as World’s
founder. He bought the airline in 1950. During the first Persian Gulf
War, World did a substantial amount of profitable business for the
military, enabling the addition of the MD-11 to the fleet. On March
27, 2014, World Airways announced the immediate cessation of all
operations. At the time of its closure, World’s fleet consisted of
MD-11 trijet aircraft both in freighter and passenger configurations
and of 747-400 freighters.

Kalitta
Air is an American cargo airline headquartered in Ypsilanti Township,
Michigan. The airline provides domestic and international scheduled
or on-demand cargo service and support for the requirements of the
Department of Defense Air Mobility Command. Its main base is Willow
Run Airport near Ypsilanti. Its callsign “Connie” is from
its founder Connie Kalitta. In 1967 Conrad “Connie” Kalitta
began a business carrying car parts using a twin engine Cessna 310
that he piloted. During the late 1980s, the Kalitta brand name
continued to appear on many o f the company’s cargo aircraft. In
January 2003, Kalitta Air began of scheduled cargo flights from the
United States to Europe. The airline flies scheduled cargo operations
between the U.S. and Hong Kong, U.S. and Korea (for Asiana), Los
Angeles and Honolulu.
